- The Directorate of Contracting (DOC), Fort Campbell, KY, anticipates an urgent requirement and is seeking sources for the following equipment: Truck, Tractor, 12 Each, 8-10 ton, capable of handling 40-48 ft flatbed trailer, single or tandem axle, day cab, gross cargo weight 80,000 pounds; Trailer, Flat Bed, 12 Each, 40-48 ft length, 96 inches minimum width, gross cargo weight 80,000 pounds; Trailer, Stake and Platform, 6 Each, 40-48 ft length, 96 inch minimum width, gross cargo weight 80,000 pounds; Reach-Stacker, 4 Each, capable of handling loaded 20 inch MILVANS, 50,000 pound capac ity; 3 high stacker; Wrecker, medium, 1 Each, capable of towing vehicles with GVW of less than 25,000 pounds; Wrecker, heavy, 1 Each, capable of towing vehicles with GVW of greater than 25,000 pounds but less than 60,000 pounds. Quantities are estimated a t this time. Delivery will be to Fort Campbell, KY. Sources capable of providing the equipment are encouraged to contact the POC and submit details such as pricing, availability and delivery terms. Sources are also encouraged to offer both lease and pu rchase arrangements. We anticipate using oral negotiations to procure this equipment. Evaluation factors will be price and availability.
