- Description
- The 21st Contracting Squadron, Peterson AFB, CO announces the synopsis of packing, crating, and local drayage services for El Paso County, CO. The Government contemplates soliciting for the award of a Firm Fixed Price Requirements contract. The anticipated award will be 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this acquisition is 488991, and the size standard is $21.5 million. Contractor tasks will include, but are not limited to the following: to pack and containerize DOD civilian and military members? Inbound (Schedule II) and Outbound (Schedule I) personal property and to provide complete Inter-County move services (Schedule III) in El Paso County, CO. With the exclusion of government property, the contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform packing and crating services as defined in the Statement of Work. The performance period of this contract shall consist of one base period and four individual option years, for a total of five years; however, there is no guarantee that the option years will be exercised. The Government anticipates this issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 20 August 2004. The anticipated award date is 1 December 2004 for performance beginning 1 January 2005, subject to the availability of funds. Interested parties are requested to submit comments/responses to this Pre-Solicitation Notice by COB 11 August 2004, 4:00 p.m. Mountain Time.
