Description
REPAIR, F110 STAGE 2 LPT INNER SEAL. One-time, fixed-quantity contract. Item 0001: Input/Output: NSN: 2840-01-199-0377PR P/N: 9507M54G01 and/or 1359M39G01. Quantity: 1000 ea. Applicable to: F110 Engine. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: Not to exceed (NTE) 250 ea every 30 days after receipt of order (ARO) and receipt of repairable assets. Item Description: Stage 2 LPT inner nozzle seal is a segmented honeycomb assembly that has a metal backing. The backing branches out to provide anchoring points to attach the seal to the engine and an attaching point for the honeycomb material. Function is to prevent the airflow loss between the spacer seal and the stage 2 nozzle seal. The deal results in engine performance degradation. Dimension is approximately 1.50 inches overall width and 0.7 inches overall height. The backing material is 0.050 ? 0.060 thick. The part is built on a 24-degree arch and 10.105 centerline radius. This requirement will be 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation that shall be considered. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government.
