- AMNDMENT # 4 ERGO MENTIONED IN REGARD TO HANDLE REFERS TO ERGONOMIC. THE DESIRED BACKPACK IS ERGONOMIC; HENCE THE ONE SHOULDER STRAP VERSUS THE TWO MORE COMMONLY FOUND ON A BACKPACK. IT WOULD BE MORE OR LESS TRIANGULAR IN SHAPE WITH A SIDE ABOUT 16" AND THE 7.5" BEING THE DEPTH OF THE BAG. BACKPACK TO HAVE ZIPPER CLOSURE. THERE IS NO REQUIRED MANUFACTURER OR PART NUMBER FOR THE BACK PACK. BACKPACK SHOULD COME AS CLOSE TO DESCRIPTION AS POSSIBLE. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation FA8601-04-T-0117 is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Item to have adjustable velcro padded shoulder strap and lower dual lashing straps; web ergo handle with reinforced fold; one main compartment; cell phone pocket, front pocket organizer with key clip, mesh zippered pocket, and pen/pencil compartments; internal CD pouch with headphone port; and padded back panel. Backpack will be embroidered in outline text with "Air Force". 2.
