- Description
- The deadline for receipt of quotations for RFQ 30703-0046-4 has been extended to Monday, August 23, 2004, at 4:00 PM EST. Presolicitation Notice: The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Jesup, Georgia, intends to issue a solicitation for the design, manufacture and supply of metal (aluminum) locking security plank ceiling systems for two food service departments located at the Federal Correctional Institution, 2600 Highway 301 South, Jesup, Georgia. The description of the panel type requested is: 18 inches wide x 063 aluminum locking security plank system - powder coat white. The estimated sizes and quantities are as follows: Estimated Quantity: 66 of 18 x 84 standard panels with exit; Estimated Quantity: 49 of 18 x 96 standard panels with exit; Estimated Quantity: 200 of 18 x 108 standard panels with exit; Estimated Quantity: 239 of 18 x 120 standard panels with exit. Contractor shall also provide installation hardware and instructions. A site visit is scheduled for July 29, 2004, at 2:00 PM EST. Contractors should be prepared to verify measurements during the site visit. Interested contractors in the site visit must contact Susan Lewis, Contracting Officer, at (912)427-0870 Ext. 631 at least two days prior to the site visit date in order to receive clearance to enter the secure perimeter of the institutions. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract. The NAICS code for this requirement is 332510 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This solicitation is unrestricted. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at www.ccr.gov. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The projected issuance of solicitation RFQ 30703-0046-4 will occur on or after July 23, 2004, and will be distributed solely through this site. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be available. The website provides downloading instructions to obtain all documents relating to this solicitation.
