Description

DESCRIPTION: The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for a quantity of three (3) each granite tables to be cut, polished and assembled in accordance with NIST specifications. Inside delivery and installation shall also be included; delivery shall be FOB Destination, NIST, Gaithersburg, Maryland. The NAICS code is 327991 with a size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business and shall be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the authority of FAR Part 13.Only small businesses may submit a quotation. In accordance with the Non-Manufacturer Rule, to qualify as a small business under a small business set-aside, the distributor and the manufacturer must be a Small Business under the NAICS code identified above. The competitive solicitation, solicitation amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available at www.fedbizopps.gov under solicitation #SB1341-04-Q-0779, is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about July 30, 2004, and will only be available via the Internet at the above web site. Potential quoters are responsible for accessing the web site. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant purchase order. There is no written solicitation document available, telephone requests will not be honored, and no bidders list will be maintained.
