- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation, Request for Quotation 19-04-093, for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented without additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 19. This is 100 percent small business set-aside. The NAIC code is 423810 the size standard for this code is 100 employees. Similar characteristic of a BC1400 Domestic Valve Package Multi-Purpose Wood Chipper, Brand Name or Equal (by reference clause 52.211-6) for the Salt Lake Ranger District, Wasatch-Cache NF- SPECIFICATIONS: One each: CAT 3054C DITAAC Tier 2 turbocharged diesel engine H 122 HP; BC1400 Smartfeed Droop Setting Standard; BC 1400 Domestic Option; BC 1400 Non winch; BC1400 electric brake; Manual Chip Chute; BC1400 LT235/85R16 LrE Tire (Standard), and BC 1400 Basic Instrumentation . Offers must include descriptive literature, such as brochures and, warranty period, price, references (local dealerships in the Salt Lake area, UT for parts and repairs/maintenance) and 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications filled out. DELIVERY: F.O.B. designation to Salt Lake Ranger District, 6944 South 3000 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84121. The provisions of 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items apply to the RFQ. Evaluation Criteria to be used in FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial items are (1) wood chipper specifications (2) delivery time (state when wood chipper can be delivered to Forest Service) and (3) price. Vendors must register in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) in order to be awarded a contract. See http://www.ccr.gov/handbook.cfm for a template of information necessary for registration.
