- The proposal due date has been established as August 27, 2004, by 2:30 local time. Interested parties are to email Kathryn Schmidt for an electronic version of the 47 record drawings (Attachment 3). USDA, APHIS,VS has a requirement for a general contractor to provide labor, services, material and equipment necessary to design and construct a 350 sq ft addition to the rear of Building 19 in Rock Tavern, NY. This addition will house security equipment and function as a guard station. The addition shall also house a recently installed fire alarm control panel which requires removal and reinstallation into the new space by a qualified representative authorized by Simplex. Relocation of a phone and data line closet is also required. Estimated construction cost is between $25,000 and $100,000. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to Davis Bacon. This procurement is set aside for small business under NAIC 236210 in accordance with USDA policy.
