- Description
- The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) intends to issue Request for Proposals (RFP) to provide engineering, procurement, integration, test, fielding and training, support, and life cycle sustainment of TACLAN related equipment. This requirement is solicited as a Small Business Set Aside competitive procurement. The effort includes performing system engineering support, upgrades and enhancements, software procurement and integration, hardware procurement and integration, developmental and operational testing, fielding support, training (New Equipment Training and Follow-On training), system administration, configuration management, web page support, help desk, quality assurance, and logistics support. An Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract with a cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF) for engineering services, and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) pricing arrangements are anticipated. The Government anticipates a single-award contract pursuant to the criteria in the RFP. The total maximum contract period of performance is five years. Type of Action: Competition restricted to eligible small businesses. A bidders conference is scheduled for 23 June 2004 from 0900-1200. Location is the Crown Plaza Hotel, 700 N. Westshore Blvd., Tampa, FL. 33607. The conference will describe in detail the technical requirements for the TACLAN Program.
