- Description
- The United States Government Accountability Office (GAO) intends to issue a contract under other than full and open competition to Innovative Interfaces, Inc. located at 5850 Shellmound Way; Emeryville, CA 94608 for Hardware/Software Maintenance for GAO?s Integrated Library System (ILS). The period of performance is October 1, 2004 through September 30, 2005, with options for four (4) additional years. The contract will provide all necessary personnel, materials, equipment, software and services to provide maintenance support services for the Innovative Interfaces hardware and software installed at the U.S. Government Accountability Office; hardware and software maintenance and support, standard system and software upgrades, replacement parts and shipment thereof, and related travel of contractor personnel. Support of the operating system software required to operate the Innovative Interfaces Integrated Library System (ILS) includes all primary modules (cataloging, online public access catalog, circulation, acquisitions, serials control, interlibrary loan, and report writer) as well as all associated products/interfaces acquired by GAO. Full documentation of all contractor changes and/or modifications or upgrades to the applications and/or operating system software for all modules that are part of the GAO ILS at time of implementing module revision will be furnished by the contractor. The proposed contract action is for Hardware/Software for GAO?s Integrated Library System (ILS), which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice is considered to be sole source to Innovative Interfaces, Inc.; therefore, no solicitation will result from this announcement. This is NOT a request for proposals. GAO believes that there is currently only one responsible source capable of providing the items and services to satisfy the agency requirement.
