Description

The Naval Air Warfare Systems Command (NAVAIR) Orlando, Training Systems Division (TSD) intends to issue a Simplified Acquisition Purchase Order with a period of performance 12 August 2004 through 30 September 2004 with University of Central Florida, 4000 Central Florida Blvd, Orlando, FL 32816 to provide Partnership Building Alterations for the Navy Human Performance Center. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." Justification: Services required are proprietary. University of Central Florida owns the building and requires modifications be completed by their facilities department. Alterations to the building include: reconfiguring walls, providing new doors, providing/installing access card devices, providing/installing power circuits, metal conduits, and cable, removing unnecessary equipment, and repair and touch-up of floors and walls, as necessary. This synopsis is not to be considered a request of quotations or proposals. No solitiation is available.
