Description
The Naval Air Systems Command, on behalf of the Inspector General of the Department of Defense, will host a Pre-Solicitation Conference on Monday, 09 August 2004. The purpose of the Pre-Solicitation Conference is to provide interested parties with additional information and solicit feedback on the upcoming IG DoD audit and information technology contract requirements. Questions that are received by COB 03 August 2004 will be addressed at the Pre-Solicitation Conference. All other questions received prior to release of the formal solicitation will be addressed and posted to the NAVAIR web page under solicitation N00421-04-R-0086. After the formal solicitation has been issued, any questions received will be addressed in an amendment. This forum will be held at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Frank Knox Building 2189, Conference room 120, Patuxent River, MD 20670. Directions will be provided upon registration. Sign-in will begin at 0730 and presentations will commence promptly at 0900. The forum will conclude no later than 1200. All interested attendees must pre-register by e-mailing Ms. Krista Hayden at krista.hayden@navy.mil no later than noon Wednesday 04 August 2004. Registering parties must include the attending individual's name, citizenship, company, mailing address, phone, and e-mail address. Only individuals that pre-register are guaranteed seating. Due to the limited seating, the Government requests that no more than two representatives attend per contractor. For those individuals unable to attend the forum, the presented materials will be available on the NAVAIR 2.0 website, http://www.navair.navy.mil/doing_business/open_solicitations/. Any questions concerning this forum may be addressed to Ms. Krista Hayden at the above cited e-mail address. Telephone requests will not be accepted. There is no cost for attending this Pre-Solicitation Conference. Participation is voluntary. The Government will not reimburse the attendees for any costs associated with its participation and is under no obligation to award any related contract associated with this event. Recording devices are prohibited at the conference. Information provided during this conference will not qualify the terms and conditions of any resulting Request for Proposals (RFP). The definitive treatment of any problems and/or questions will be handled in the formal RFP. A copy of the draft solicitation N00421-04-R-0086 is posted at http://www.navair.navy.mil/doing_business/open_solicitations/ for review, comments and questions. Copies of the solicitation will not be available at the Pre-Solicitation Conference.
