- The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov Website on or about August 11, 2004. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. PLEASE DO NOT CALL OR EMAIL INQUIRIES REGARDING THE SOLICITATION UNTIL IT HAS BEEN POSTED. The National Park Service (NPS) in cooperation with the Chesapeake Bay Program has created the Chesapeake Bay Gateways Network, a partnership system of national parks, state parks, refuges, museums, historoic communities and water trails throughout the Bay Watershed. To further capabilities of the Gateways Network, National Park Service is exploring the development and marketing of products that feature the cultural, historical and natural themes of the Chesapeake Bay region. National Park Service is soliciting for a firm-fixed price contract. The contractor will propose a suite of ten or more potential products to be developed by the Chesapeake Bay Gateways Network and will provide a feasiblitiy analysis for each. Each must advance the Network's core purpose of engaging people with the Chesapeake Bay's many special places and stories in order to ultimately stimulate individual involvement in and support for conservation and restoration of the Bay and its tributaries. Details regarding specific requirements for this project will be provided in Solicitation N4250040071. Prospective offerers desiring to do business with the National Park Service are requested to register at the National Business Center. Federal Acquistion Regulations (FAR) 2001-16 requires all contractors to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database(http://www.ccr.gov) prior to any award. NAICS: 541613
