- The US Army Medical Command Center for Health Care Contracting (CHCC) has a requirement, solicitation number W81K04-04-R-0012, for hospital housekeeping services at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), El Paso, TX and the clinics at the White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, training, transportation, equipment and materials necessary to provide housekeeping services in accordance with JCAHO, OSHA, and MEDCOM standards and re gulations. The requirement consists of the main hospital at WBAMC, El Paso, TX, to include surrounding buildings in the immediate area on or near the medical treatment facility, and the clinics at the WSMR. The estimated combined square footage of all fa cilities is 782,045 square feet. The contract base period will be from April 1, 2005 through September 30, 2005, with four 1-year options. The North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) code/size is 561720/$14M. This requirement will be solicited as a small business set-aside. Offerors must meet the required minimum Corporate Experience. Contractor Corporate Experience requires that the firm have gained experience in hospital housekeeping services as a result of being regularly engaged in the busin ess of providing housekeeping services in healthcare/patient care environments (e.g., inpatient, outpatient, ancillary, surgical, and dental care). The minimum level of acceptable experience required is 24 months within the previous 36 months from the dat e initially established for submission of proposals. Periods of creditable performance may have been incurred at more than one site for at least 12 consecutive calendar months at each site and could not have been gained at two or more sites concurrently. The solicitation will be posted to the FedBizOpps website at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about August 13, 2004. Any prospective offerors will be able to download the solicitation from the website.
