- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All work performed for this procurement must be completed by September 30, 2004. This procurement is set-aside for Small Business. The total estimated value of this procurement is betwee n $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. This will be a firm fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS)code for this procurement is 235610, business size standard is $21.0M, Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 1761, Federal Supply Class or Service (FSC) code is C152. To be eligible for contract award, a firm must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR Internet site at http://www.ccr.gov or by contacting the DOD Electro nic Commerce Information Center at 1-800-334-3414. All proposals are due no later than August 06, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. Contractual questions should be referred to Rosalind Whitfield at (816) 983-3923. Technical questions should be re ferred to Larry Irvin or Daniel Jones at (816) 240-8131. The work to be performed is to install a new 24-gage roof on the existing 10,000 square foot building. The new roof shall be installed over the existing roof and roof over the existing skylights. Two to three inches of insulation shall be installed between the old and new roof. The building is located in Gasconade, Missouri at the old Corps of Engineers Project Office. Please price as an option new gutters and downspouts.
