- 04T0133- System/Modular/Freestanding Furniture PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF SYSTEM/MODULAR/FREESTANDING FURNITURE This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This item is prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, and this announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Brand Name or Equal Acquisition. Wright Patterson Air Force Base has a requirement to purchase free- standing modular furniture and accessories for the Air Force Research Laboratory, Sensors Lab reference Atch. 1 Parts Listing Allsteel. The contractor shall provide purchasing action and complete operational installation of freestanding furniture and accessories for AFRL/SNA, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH. Required delivery date is 16 SEPTEMBER 2004. The furniture and accessory installation must be completely operational NO LATER THAN 29 SEPTEMBER 2004. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-24 Effective 19 Jul 2004. Solicitation FA8601-04-T-0133 is a Request for Quotations (RFQ). North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 337211 and the size standard is 500 employees. GSA scheduling will be considered. All work shall be in accordance with the Specifications, which can be found in the World Wide Web address at the PreAward Information System (PIXS) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH (http:www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil). Solicitation provision at Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.212-1 (Jan 2004), Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial is hereby incorporated by reference. The following paragraphs (a) thru (c) are supplemental instructions (Addendum to Provision FAR 52.212-1) to offerors for development of quotations. (a) Purpose: These instructions prescribe the format of quotation and describe the approach for the development and presentation of quotation data. They are designed to ensure the submission of information essential to the understanding and comprehensive validation of quotations. The instructions permit the inclusion of any additional data or information an offeror deems pertinent. Offerors are cautioned to follow the detailed instructions fully and carefully, as the government intends to make an award based on initial offers received, without discussions of such offers. (b) Completed Request For Quotations Quotations shall be submitted to 88 CONS/PKS, Attention: Jan Banta, Contract Specialist Area C, Building 1, Room 109, Specialist, 1940 Allbrook Drive, Suite 3, Wright Patterson AFB, OH 45433-5309 (c) Past Performance: In the quotation, the offeror shall submit a Present/Past Performance Reference List citing the contract number, name, phone number and fax number of Point of Contact (POC), dollar value of contract and period of performance on three recent and relevant contracts for the same or similar items. The OFFEROR will submit a copy of the Present/Past Performance Questionnaire (attached to this website) to each of the three references with instructions to send completed questionnaires to the Contracting Specialist NO LATER THAN 03 Aug 2004 at 4:00 P.M., the address label shall reflect the following information: Solicitation Number 04T0133, ?To be delivered unopened to the Contract Specialist, Jan Banta? and shall be delivered to the address above.
