Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Elevator Maintenance, Repair, and Inspection Services to be provided to the Federal Medical Center, located in Rochester, Minnesota. The services shall consist of all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, repair parts, tools, instruments and equipment to be performed, as specified in the statement of work. The contractor shall coordinate and ensure effective, economical completion of all work and services as specified in the statement of work. The award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on price related factors only. The contract shall consist of a 12-month base period and four 12 month option periods for renewal. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will be a service contract with firm-fixed prices for monthly service that shall be inclusive of all related charges for Elevator Maintenance as specified in the statement of work. The contractor shall perform the required services in accordance with all current Federal, State, and Local Codes or Regulations regarding Elevator Maintenance. All licenses, permits, etc., shall be the responsibility of the contractor. The contractor shall adhere to the work schedule established in the statement of work. The solicitation will be available on or about August 10, 2004, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about September 7, 2004. The solicitation is unrestricted. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible vendors may submit a quote which will be considered for award.
