Description
The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA,intends to solicit for the following services to be performed at the National Weather Service offices in Pleasant Hill, Missouri and Lincoln, Illinois:Furnish all materials, supervision, supplies and labor necessary to replace 2 wall hung Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) units with 2, 10-ton HVAC units at the radar equipment shelter located at each site. Services will be performed in accordance with a Government provided Statement of Work, Terms and Conditions and Davis-Bacon Wage determination. The requirements include, but are not limited to: removal and disposal of two existing Bard, exterior wall mounted packaged HVAC units from the building; installation of two each factory assembled, outdoor, ten-ton (nominal),ducted, packaged HVAC units with economizer, electric heat (20kw), filters and hail guards to protect exposed coil fins. The units shall be located on individual, poured-in-place 6? thick concrete slabs. Electrical requirements include but are not limited to: utilization of the panel positions vacated by the original HVAC units; installation of new, properly sized circuit breakers; replacement of conductors and conduit with new copper conductors,if needed; installation of a NEMA 3R fused disconnect with properly sized fuses on or immediately adjacent to each unit. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The CASC Administrative Support Center, Acquisition Management Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this office be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
