- Description
- The Johnson Space Center (JSC) Exchange is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the following services: JSC Exchange Food Services Program at JSC that includes the building 3 and 11 cafeterias, catering and vending program. The JSC Exchange is a non-appropriated funded instrumentality (NAFI) and not subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The classification code and the NAICs code identified above are for posting purposes only as this is a non-Governmental procurement. The RFP is being released concurrently with this synopsis with a proposal due date of August 24, 2004. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the JSC Exchange. The preproposal conference and site visit have been scheduled for August 11, 2004 from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon at JSC. Please refer to the solicitation Section L, regarding RSVP information for the site visit. Offerors must provide the requested information no later than August 5, 2004 in order to attend the onsite tour. The Past Performance Volume is due one week prior to the remaining proposal data. Offerors shall submit past performance as requested in Section L no later than August 17, 2004. All remaining proposal data is due no later than August 24, 2004. Some of the RFP attachments, forms, and some historical data will be posted by July 28, 2004 as an amendment to this solicitation. Offerors shall monitor the identified website for the amendment. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA/JSC Business Opportunities page is http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=73 Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Any referenced notes may be viewed at the following URLs linked below. All contractual and technical questions must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferable to FAX) to Delene R. Sedillo at delene.r.sedillo@nasa.gov or via fax at 281-244-5469 not later than August 16, 2004. In order to expedite responses, offerors are requested to provide questions prior to the site visit no later than August 9, 2004. Telephone questions will not be accepted. The mail code in the point of contact information should be AH12 for purposes of this solicitation.
