- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charleston intends to negotiate, on a Sole Source basis, with Rohde & Schwarz, Inc. 8080 Tristar Dr, Ste. 120 Irving TX 75063. The contractor shall provide an Electromagnetic Interference Measurement System (EMI) to be used to determine the presence, level, frequency and characteristics of RF signals over the 30 Hz to 26 GHz frequency range. The EMI System is to perform the MIL-STD-461/MIL-STD-472 compliance testing. The system will be used to characterize the emissions from Navy RADAR and Communication Systems It must be capable of scanning and detecting radio signals over the 30 Hz to 26 GHz frequency range, and provide metering and visual display of received signals for analysis, data acquisition and storage of both average and peak signal levels of the measured data. The EMI Measurement System must have the capability of being computer controlled as well as manually operated. A Firm Fixed Price type contract is anticipated. This notice of intent is not a Request for Competitive Proposals. The applicable NAICS Code is 334513 with a size standard of 500 employees and FSC Code 6625 apply. Comments shall be submitted in writing to Diane Kobs, Code 0217DK, Contract Specialist at diane.kobs@navy.mil no later than 30 JUL 04. See Note 22.
