Description

Pre-Solicitation--IFB N68711-04-B-7743, CONSTRUCT MODULAR OFFICES FOR CIF EXECUTION, BLDG. 1317 (TP-0247R2) at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, CA. The work includes furnishing all materials, labor, equipment and supervision to CONSTRUCT MODULAR OFFICES FOR CIF EXECUTION, BLDG. 1317 including, but not limited to: The proposed work involves the construction of battalion supply administration office suites, security cages, a combined service counter area, and upgrades to HVAC, power, lighting and the existing toilet facilities within the south end of Building 1317, and additional fencing within the entire building; and, incidental related work. A Quality Control Program will be required as set forth in the Contract Specifications. NOTE: All Federal Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, new contract awards can only be made to contractors who are registered in the CCR. Only one site visit will be offered. Meet at the ROICC Office, Bldg. 1138T1. Bid Opening 2:00 PM, local time, 20 September 2004. Duration of contract 180 calendar days. Estimated Cost Range between $250,000 and $500,000. This is a Firm Fixed Price contract. This procurement is being issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. NOTE: Bids submitted in response to this advertisement will be evaluated in compliance with FAR Clause 52.219-4, Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Business Concerns (Jan 1999), which is applicable to this solicitation. NAICS Code 236220/SIC Code 1542. The related Small Business Size Standard is $28.5 Million. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of the Internet. Plans and Specifications will NOT be directly provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the Internet. It is therefore the Contractor?s responsibility to check the below listed address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation?s plans and specifications. Download from the Internet is free of charge; however, some plans and specifications will take a considerable amount of time to download. Telephone or FAX requests will not be accepted.
