- Description
- The U. S. Department of the Interior, Office of Insular Affairs, has a need of services of a qualified professional with significant experience in construction management. The individual would travel extensively, as needed, to the U.S. affiliated insular areas to view construction plans, budgets, schedules and work in progress. The individual would provide a combination of advice and oversight to ensure project goals are achieved. The individual would also be called upon to develop creative ideas and review project proposals to improve local capacity in the area of proper maintenance of infrastructure and to monitor and oversee projects approved for technical assistance funding through the OMIP (Operations and Maintenance Improvement Program). The anticipated release date for the Solicitation is August 25, 2004. The NAICS Code for this requirement 238990.
