Description
This is a Request for Information (RFI). HQ AMC is seeking sources to provide full planeload charter air cargo service to various international locations. Air carriers must be a current Civil Reserve Air Fleet member and either own or lease their aircraft (aircraft must be on the operating certificate of the air carrier) that can meet the following specifications: 1. Support 7 pallet positions, carry 463L non-contoured pallets with the dimensions of 108 inches in length by 88 inches in width by 96 inches in height. 2. Support rolling stock 3. Carry T2 to T5 non-contoured pallet trains, and rolling stock 4. Certified to carry hazardous cargo class 1-9. 5. Must be a Part FAR 121 certificated carrier. Service to be performed will be short-range weekly scheduled intratheater routes in the Atlantic and Pacific Theaters with additional ad hoc routes when required. Weekly scheduled routes in the Atlantic will originate and end at Ramstein AB in Germany. Weekly scheduled routes in the Pacific will originate and end at Yokota AB in Japan. Some of the projected operating locations in the Atlantic Theater may require specialized equipment for certain types of aircraft, which must be provided by the carrier. Some operating locations in the Pacific Theater have space constraints and require aircraft with nose or rear loading capability. Potential firms of interested shall provide a synopsis of their organization (i.e. name of the company, address, name of the point of contact with their telephone, fax number, and e-mail address), available aircraft, capability to meet the specification described above, and their business size. Interested parties may identify their capability to respond to this RFI by 29 Jul 04 no later than 3:00 p.m. CST via e-mail at dorothy.harris@scott.af.mil. This RFI should not be construed as a commitment or authorization to incur costs in anticipation of such procurement. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or otherwise pay for any information submitted by respondents to this request. Information received in response of this RFI will be used for informational purpose only.
