- NSN 7360-01-514-1442. This acquisition is for 34 SPEK Kits. The SPEK was created to satisfy the Air Force?s requirement for a rapidly deployable, temporary kitchen for use in remote and undeveloped locations. The SPEK is a complete food service facility capable of providing hot meals to 300 personnel at one time. The SPEK can be deployed by air or ground transportation. Everything but fuel, water, and food is packed onto a single air cargo pallet. The entire SPEK can be set up by eight airmen in less than two hours and requires a four-person crew to operate the equipment and serve the food. All orders will be issued as FOB Destination. All deliveries shall be within 6 months. Contractor must be CCR registered and have a Cage Code. The Government intends to award the Sole Source Firm-Fixed Prince Purchase Order to a small business concern: Babington Enterprises, Inc. of 1113 Ingelside Avenue in McLean, VA 22101-2131.
