- One-year requirements contract with 4 one-year options is contemplated. Item 0001: Input: NSN: 2915-01-139-6647PN, P/N: 704300-2, -4, -6, -13 Output: NSN: 2915-01-139-6647PN, P/N: 704300-13. Item 0002: NSN: 2915-01-139-6647PN, P/N: 708600-1, -5 Output: 2915-01-139-6647PN, P/N: 708600-5, and/or Input: NSN: 2915-01-241-9239PN, P/N: 708400-1 Output: NSN: 2915-01-241-9239PN, P/N: 708400-2. Best Estimated Quantity(BEQ): Basic, 20 ea, Option I, 22 ea, Option II, 20 ea, Option III, 21 ea, Option IV, 23 ea Applicable to: F108-CFM56-2B/C Engines, KC-135 aircraft. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: Not to exceed (NTE) 10 ea every 30 days after receipt of order (ARO) and receipt of repairable assets. Item Description: Fuel Pumps contain a centrifugal stage provides pressurized fuel to maintain fuel flow through and external fuel heater and therough the pump fuel filter, and also provides pressurized fuel to the gear stage. The gear stage supplies high-pressure fuel to the aircraft engine fuel control. The pump cover provides a mounting surface for the fuel control. A control shaft drives the fuel control concentric with the main drive (input) shaft. The pump cover and gear housing contain pressure and temperature table to monitor pump performance. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. These qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001 and 0002. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation through FedBizOps at http://www.eps.gov/. Approved Sources: Argo-Tech Corporation, Cleveland, OH 44117-1795 and Turbine Controls, Inc., Bloomfield, CT 06002. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation that shall be considered. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only qualified sources of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government.
