Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), intends to procure professional services for construction of the Bridge Shoring for the NOAA/NOS Center for Coastal Fisheries and Habitat Research, Pivers Island, Beaufort, NC. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, testing devices, materials and material handling, security and accountability, and each and every item of expense necessary for the supply, fabrication, erection and installation of the Bridge Shoring. The Bridge Shoring work shall include, but not be limited to, constructing shoring to support the existing bridge?s two end spans. Details to be described in the plans and specifications. The size of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This is a 100% small business set aside project. The NAICS code is 237310 and the small business size standard is a maximum of $28.5 million average annual gross revenue for the last three fiscal years. This project is of an URGENT nature; therefore, the invitation for bid documents will be made available July 30, 2004. The response date for sealed bids will be on or about August 17, 2004. The completion time for this project is approximately 90-120 calendar days. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the agency. Copies of the specifications and bid documents are limited and will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. All requests for a bid package must be in writing.
