- Description
- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation Number DHQCSD05MPD0103. This solicitation is a Request For Quote(RFQ). (iii) The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 14 (6-23-03) and Defense Change Notice 20030620. (iv) DISA intends to issue a sole-source purchase order to Sterling Commerce, as Sterling owns all proprietary rights to the software's source code and is the only known source for maintenance. (v) CLIN 0001: Software Support: Connect:Direct for OS/390, CPU GS2032C, requiring site Mechanicsburg; CLIN 0002: Software Support: Connect:Direct for OS/390, CPU GS-7Z5, requiring site Mechanicsburg; CLIN 0003: Software Support: Connect:Direct for OS/390, CPU GS2095C, requiring site Mechanicsburg; CLIN 0004: Software Support: Connect:Direct for OS/390, CPU 2064-105, requiring site Mechanicsburg; CLIN 0005: Software Support: Connect:Direct for OS/390, requiring site Mechanicsburg; CLIN 0006: Software Support: Connect:Direct for Unix, CPU HP RP7400, requiring site Ogden. (vi) Required Period of coverage for maintenance is 1 October 2004 through 30 September 2005. (vii) Delivery is to DISA SSO ? Mechanicsburg CDTP, 5450 Carlisle Pike Bldg. 409, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. (viii) FAR 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Item, applies to this acquisition. (ix) FAR 52.212-2 does not apply to this sole source acquisition. (x) Quotes shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Item; DFARS 252.212-7000(b), Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Item. (xi) FAR 52.212-4 Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. (xii) (1) The following FAR clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-5; 52.219-6; 52.222-3; 52.222-19; 52.222-21; 52.222-37; 52.227-19; 52.232-36, 52.233-3; 52.252-2; 52.252-6; 52.253-1. (2) The following DFARS clauses apply to this acquisition: 252.204-7003; 252.204-7004; 252.212-7001 (Dev); 252.232-7003. (xiii) The contract type will be a firm fixed price.
