- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO. The solicitation number, H92244-04-Q-0072 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24 effective 18 June 2004. This procurement is restricted to small business set aside. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. This procurement has a DPAS rating of DO. NAIC Code 511210 size standards 500 employees or under. This synopsis/solicitation is for COMMERCIAL ITEMS. The Naval Special Warfare Development Group, Virginia Beach, Virginia has a potential requirement to procure the following: CLIN 0001 Fleet Focus FA Active Equipment Unit Annual Maintenance, Quantity 400 each. Must include software and received equipment, set-up and maintenance of the programs and equipment;. Software will be used to upgrade the maintenance system to help track service and maintenance of command vehicles. Software maintenance and support shall include product updates and enhancements. CLIN 0002 Motor Pool, Quantity 400 each.. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE IS 1 OCTOBER 2004 THROUGH 30 SEPTEMBER 2005. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: The provision at 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items (Oct 2000) applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2 Evaluation ? Commercial Items (Jan 1999) applies. A copy of this clause can be found at http://www.arnet.gov/far. The provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items, and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial (June 2003), FAR 52.203-6, Restrictions on Subcontractor Sales to the Government (July 1995), FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer (May 1999) applies, DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes for Executive Orders applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (June 2004) applies, DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program (April 2003) applies; DFARS 252.225-1101, Acquisition of Supplies applies and DFARS 252.211-7003 Item Identification and Valuation (January 2004) applies). Quotations shall include the vendor?s Cage Code, Dun and Bradstreet Number (DUN) and Tax Identification Number (TIN). Quotes are required to be received no later than 12:00pm EST, Wednesday, August 4, 2004. Award shall be made to the responsive, responsible offeror quoting the lowest overall evaluated price. The prospective offeror must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov prior to award.
