- NAICS Code 561621. Quarterly Fire Alarm System Testing and Inspection Services to be performed at seven Federal Buildings within the state of South Dakota. Alarm equipment includes fire safety systems, building smoke management, elevator capture and/or automatic sprinkler systems located in Federal Buildings in the towns of Aberdeen, Huron, Pierre, Rapid City, Sisseton and Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Anticipated contract period is October 1, 2004 through September 30, 2005, with four 1-year option periods. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will be issued August 4, 2004, with offers due on August 24, 2004. Anticipated award date is August 31, 2004. Information regarding site visits will be announced in the solicitation. Security clearances will be required for all workers. The solicitation will be made available electronically at the FedBizOpps website on the Internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This site provides instructions for downloading documents. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the site for the release of the solicitation and amendments, if any. A limited number of paper copies of the solicitation will be made available. Requests for paper copies must be made in writing to the Contracting Officer at PO Box 19, Aberdeen, SD 57402. Fax requests will be accepted at 605-226-7305. This procurement is being set-aside for small businesses only, see Numbered Note 1. All responsible sources submitting an offer will be considered.
