Description
SOLICITATION GS0504GAC0163 FOR THE GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION FOR CLEANING OF GRANITE WALL COVERING AT THE 77 W. JACKSON BUILDING, CHICAGO, ILLINOIS The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, tools, and equipment to efficiently, effectively and satisfactorily perform the cleaning of approximately 32,000 square feet of 4? x 4? granite wall panels. This is negotiated procurement Small Buisness Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561720 with a Small Buisness Standard Size of $14 million. The contractor shall clean all granite walls covering in the 1st floor lobby and stairways, 2nd floor lobby and 3rd floor lobby using Hot/Cold water power washer P.S.I. shall be determined by contractor. Contractor shall use proper equipment necessary to clean granite walls from floor to ceiling that will not damage surface. Contractor shall use sealers and cleaning products designed specifically for natural stone that will not damage walls, cause discoloration of walls or damage finish. Sealer shall be applied after area has been allowed to air dry. Any dimension and quantities given here are for reference only. The Contractor shall field verify all areas and quantities prior to the submittal of a bid. All prospective bidders are urged to visit the job site to become familiar with existing conditions, compare the specifications with work in place, and inform themselves as to all conditions, extent, and character of work to be performed. Arrangements for site visits can be obtained by contacting GSA Planner/Estimator, James Robinson at (312) 353-1987. The solicitation package will only be available on or about August 4, 2004. No paper copies will be mailed. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and for monitoring and registering at the website for possible amendments and/or additional information. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS). FedTeDS is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. It is fully integrated with other electronic government initiatives such as FedBizOpps and the Central Contract Contract Registration (CCR) database. In order to obtain the solicitation from FedTeDS, you will first be required to register with CCR. The Central Contractor Registration database is a part of the Business Partner Network and will be used to validate vendor identity. Effective October 1, 2003, all government contractors must be registered in CCR prior to receiving an award. You may access CCR at the following URL www.bpn.gov once have registered with CCR, yu will be required to register with FedTeDS. No federal materials can downloaded until you have registered under both sites. You may access FedTeDS vai the following URL, http://www.FedTeDS.gov . You will then be required to access the vendor registration form by selecting the hyperlink entitled ?Register with FedTeDS? and then choosing the ?Vendor Registration Form? hyperlink. At a minimum, all vendors must supply the following information: Your Company?s Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and your company?s DUNS Number (Contact Dun & Bradstreet at 1-800-333-0505 if youdo not have D & B Number).
