- Description
- This solicitation is for a display system that will be an integral part of the Multipurpose Supporting Arms Trainer (MSAT) located at EWTGLANT, Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek. Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Orlando, TSD issues this solicitation for full and open competition in accordance with FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and will utilize the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth within FAR Part 13. Standard Form 1449 for solicitation N61339-04-T-0058, NAVAIR Orlando TSD Statement of Objectives (SOO) 040089 and NAVAIR Orlando TSD Performance Specification (PRF) 040090 may be obtained by accessing the NAVAIR Orlando TSD Business Opportunities page at http://www.nawctsd.navy.mil/EBusiness/BusOps/Index.cfm. The documents can be found with the Open Acquisitions section of the NAVAIR Business Opportunities site. Offers will be evaluated in accordance with the specified evaluation criteria and any subsequent award will be based on best value utilizing the tradeoff procedures set forth in the solicitation . Evaluation criteria is published within the Standard Form 1449. Offers shall be supported by a Statement of Work providing the proposed solution to the stated objectives set forth within the SOO while satisfying the minimum requirements set forth in the PRF. This notice is a request for competitive quotes. Quotes are due at the address located in block 9 of the Standard Form 1449 by the date and time located in block 8 of the Standard Form 1449. In the case that quotes will be delivered in person to the address in block 9, a visitor request must be coordinated with the identified contract specialist for this acquisition no later than 24 hours prior to delivery. Offerors without a visitor request will not have access to the NAVAIR Orlando TSD facility. All communications regarding this acquisition will be posted to this site. Questions shall be submitted in writing, by Email, to the identified contract specialist. Information regarding subcontracting opportunities shall be directed to the successful offeror, which will be identified on this site in accordance with FAR Part 5. All inquires regarding this acquisition must reference the Solicitation Number identified within this notice.
