- Description
- The Military Sealift Command requires the purchase of 151 ship sets, Ship Security Alert Systems (SSAS) compliant with SOLAS XI-2/6, and the installation of up to 39 of these SSAS, provided as Government Furnished Material (GFM). The installation will occur at various ports within and outside the continental USA (i.e. Hawaii, Japan, Guan, Persian Gulf and Singapore). This will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract with one lot designated for the materials and a second lot designated for the SSAS installation (to include all travel costs). The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be released on or about 02 August 2004. When released, the RFP will be available through the MSC web site at http://www.msc.navy.mil (the select CONTRACTS, the select ACTIVE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS). All interested parties must e-mail or fax the following information to MSC: Company Name, Point of Contact, Phone number, Email Address and Fax Number. Parties that already have expressed interest are requested to confirm the above information to the same address. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by MSC.
