- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for the service of a contractor to provide all labor, equipment, supplies, and seeds to hydroseed 22,000 linear feet of 35' wide dike. Seed to be used is bermuda (10 lbs/acre) and millet (20 lbs/acre) at the South Twiford dike at Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge in East Lake, NC. This is a SMALL BUSINESS set aside with an NAICS code 561730 and a size standard of $6 million. The tentative RFQ issue date is July 21,2004. CAUTION: The RFQ documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities web site at http://fbo.gov. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. Prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov in order to be eligible for award. CCR help is available at 1.888.227.2423. CCR registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number which can be obtained free of charge from Dun and Bradstreet at (800) 333-0505 or at http://dnb.com.
