Description

The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, intends to negotiate with Weeks Marine, Inc., on a sole source basis for work that consists of furnishing one fully crewed and equipped 30-inch hydraulic pipeline cutterhead dredge with a subme rged pump on a rental basis to borrow sand off the coast of Grand Isle and pump material back to the beach. Minor dike work is required. This work is to be performed in conjunction with a separate State of Louisiana contract (Contract No. 502-26-0075) fo r rehabilitation work which was competed under bid laws of the State of Louisiana and awarded to Weeks Marine, Inc. This notice is published as required by FAR 6.302-1(d)(2), and any proposals resulting will be considered.
