- AMENDMENT 0001: Add three revised PDF files for respective Drawings to facilitate printing to scale. No actual changes have been made to the Soliciation, Specifications, of Drawings. Contracting Office Address: 347 Contracting Squadron, 347 CONS/MSCA 4380B Alabama Road, Moody AFB, Ga. 31699-1794 Description: This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts and in accordance with FAR Part 14, Competitve Acquisition Procedures/Sealed Bids. The Department of the Air Force, Moody AFB, Georgia, intends to issue an Invitation For Bids (IFB) to construct retrofit standing seam metal roof systems on existing flat roof structures to buildings 585, *1102 and *109 (*options). The solicitation is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification Code 238160 (NAICS) is applicable to this solicitation. The size standard is $12 Million. The project magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The tentative IFB issue date is on or about 07/7/04, with a 08/10/04 opening date. A firm fixed price contract will be issued with a performance period of approximately 150 days to 330 calendar days (depending on number of options exercised) from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is 09/7/04. The IFB documents will be available for download electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities website (the solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the EPS website to USAF Offices, Air Force Special Operations Command, 347 CONS) or they can be purchased (service fee) from commercial blueprinting businesses (for example: Doughtery Blueprint and Supply, 229-244-5598; The blue Print Shop, 850-224-2699; Valdosta Reprograhics, 229-241-7955; Datatek-USA Plan Room Services, 888-539-8431 or other plan rooms) or review a copy at the 347 Contracting Squadron office. Paper copies will not be available. In order to submit a bid, you must be registered at the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website at http://www.ccr.gov and use of a Dun and Bradstreet (Duns) and Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN) is required.
