- Synopsis: This is a notice of intention to issue a solicitation for the repair of 8 each Band 3 MIN control, Input: NSN 5895-01-082-0337EW, P/N 582R871H03, or NSN 5895-01-220-9121EW, P/N 582R871H05, or NSN5895-01-231-4035EW, P/N 582R871H06, Output NSN 5895-01-396-2184EW, P/N 582R871H09/ASC39, applicable to the AN/ALQ-131. Delivery schedule: All repair deliveries shall start 60 days after ATP approval. The approximate solicitation issue date is 5 August 2004, with the approximate response date of 3 September 2004. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Teledyne Microwave, 1274 Terra Bella Avenue, Mountain View, CA, 94043, CAGE code 24022, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. See Notes 22 & 26. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation that shall be considered. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 30 days of the synopsis publication date. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Late responses will not be accepted.
