- Description
- Air Force Research Laboratory, Air Vehicles Directorate (AFRL/VASD) solicits research proposals for the Multidisciplinary Computing Environment (MDICE) Thermal Module program. The objective of this program is to develop and test a computational framework capability for conjugate heat transfer and aerothermoelastic modeling of high-speed air vehicles. The emphasis for this effort is on the Mach number range from two to nine, but the offeror is encouraged to propose solutions for higher Mach number ranges. A high-fidelity capability is also emphasized, although low-fidelity simulation capabilities will be considered to be strongly complementary.
