Description

HSCG87-04-B-643657 Replace Fire Alarm Systems and Wiring in Family Housing Buildings, USCG Air Station, Sitka, Alaska. The work includes removing fire alarm systems and wiring in fifteen family housing buildings and providing and installing fifteen new fully addressable fire alarm systems complete with all heat and smoke detection devices, manual pull stations, audible and visual notification devices, main and remote indicator panels and battery backup power supply. Work also includes cutting, patching, and painting of existing wallboard, which contains small amounts of asbestos. All work shall be completed within 120 calendar days after award. The estimated cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. See the solicitation for bonding requirements. This procurement is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238210 and the applicable size standard is $12.0 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. All responsible small businesses may submit a bid. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. Solicitation documents, may be accessed for download from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be on or about 5 August 2004) at the following site: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted on this website. Prospective bidders are responsible for checking the website for amendments up to the date and time of bid opening. The technical data package (specifications and drawings) will only be available through a link in FedBizOpps to the Federal Technical Data Solution (FEDTeDS) website. Firms must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and FEDTeDS database to be able to access the technical data package. A planholders list will not be available for this project from CEU-Juneau.
