- This notice is amended to correct the Contracting Officer's e-amil address: It should read charles.harrell1@dhs.gov. This will be a competitive small business set aside for Solid Waste Collection at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), Glynco, GA. The NAICS Code 562111, with a size standard of $10.5 million. The solicitation will be issued on or about August 2, 2004 with a planned closing date of September 1, 2004. A pre-proposal conference is planned. Information on the pre-proposal conference including date, time, and points of contact will be included in the solicitation. The period of performance is planned for October 01, 2004 through September 30, 2005, with four (4) one year option periods from October 01, 2005 through September 30, 2009. All interested and capable small business firms are encouraged to download a copy of the solicitation and supporting documents from the FedBizOps (Electronic Posting System) at www.eps.gov under Vendors, DHS, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Glynco, GA. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be issued. All eligible firms may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency. Telephone, written, or e-mail requests for a hard copy of the solicitation will not be accepted. The solicitation must be down-loaded from the EPS web site. This procurement is being awarded under the authority of FAR Subpart 12, Commercial Items. The Contracting Officer for this procurement is Charles E.
