- Description
- The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) intends to enter into a sole source purchase order with RMA (the incumbent contractor). The period of performance will be one year with four option years. The purpose is to maintain consistency in credit risk diagnostic tests taken by OCC's bank examiners. As part of the new curriculum development process, the OCC determined that it was imperative to obtain a baseline measure of the bank examiner's credit skill level. This was accomplished in the present contract with RMA. The RMA credit risk diagnostic identified examiner credit skill levels and also measured progress in enhancing those skills as the new credit curriculum was implemented. Because diagnostics are structured differently (e.g., different key categories, different questions), all of the work to-date in establishing a baseline and using it to craft the new credit curriculum would be lost if we were to change contractors, thus changing diagnostics.
