Description

The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about August 3, 2004. TELEPHONE/E;MAIL REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. PLEASE DO NOT CALL OR E:MAIL INQUIRIES REGARDING THE SOLICITATION UNTIL IT HAS BEEN POSTED. Everglades National Park, Gulf Coast District, Everglades City, FL has a requirement for a vendor to provide and install a floating canoe/kayak launch facility. Floating docks shall be of concrete construction and will have non slip deck surface, an attached bumper around the perimeter 5 1/2" wide constructed of plasic composite materials attached with counter sunk stainless steel bolts with six cleats one on each corner and two equally spaced on the outboard side of the 8' x 16' section. Detailed specifications and drawings will be provided when the Request for Quotes is posted. Gulf Coast District is located at Everglades City, FL, 40 miles southeast of Naples, FL on US 41 (Tamiami Trail) or 85 miles west of Miami on US 41. Price range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. This procurement is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. NAICS Code is 237990 Size standard is $28,500,000.00. Vendor awarded the contract will be required to submit performance and payment bonds. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with National park Service are required to register at the National Business Center (NBC) website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 2001-16 requires that all contractors to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database at http://www.ccr.gov prior to any award.
