- Description
- The US Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service, Procurement Operations Branch intends to make a sole source, firm fixed price award to Xerox Corporation, Washington DC. This award is for (1) two Xerox Work Centre pro 45H finisher (350FCFIN), Scanning PC/Email Fax Line 1 (SCANFAXPK1), 256MN RAM Upgrade (WP256MEM), Three months of warranty with training, analyst support, delivery and setup and (2) Full service maintenance agreement during warranty including 10,000 allowances per unit and includes toner. Salient Charateristics include one LAN drop needed to conntect all features of the machine, and imbedded web server through an IP address obtained from the user. Enable the user, through the web, to check the status of their machine, print from the web from remote sites, check meter reads and can review many other features. Management automation of this asset allows MMS to reduce human resources allocated to this solution, conserving time and funding. Characteristics also include print trivers that allow all copier functions at the desktop. Also, is 508 and Energy Star compliant. The total value of this project is estimated to be $33,939. This is NOT a request for competitive quotes. The intent of this Special Notice is for information purposes only. However, all information and/or quotes received by Close of Business August 2, 2004, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
