Power, Distribution, and Specialty Transformer Manufacturing CONTRACTING OFFICE ADDRESS Department of the Air Force, United States Air Force Pacific, 36 CONS/LGCA, Andersen AFB, Unit 14040 Building 17000, APO AP 96543-4010 DESCRIPTION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared per the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, 13.6, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation number is F64133-04-T-J002 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-24. The 36th Contracting Squadron intends to award a contract for the supplies as described below. Any questions you may have pertaining to this announcement may be E-mailed to the same address. Questions must be forwarded by noon (local time) July 24th, 2004. CLINS CLIN 0001: Constant Current Regulator Wet-Type FAA Specification 829, Frequency 60hrz, oil cooled, kilowatt rating 50kw, input voltage 480vac, output current 20 amps and output brightness steps 5. The REGW constant current regulator is designed to provide precision control of runway lighting circuits and are designed for indoor service. CLIN 0002: BI-35S1 Cable Fault Locator (thumper) To locate underground electrical distribution cable faults for expedient repairs to restor power to electrical distribution systems. CLIN 0003: C-1 100kv Portable High Voltage D.C. Test Set Test hotline tools allows for safe repairs & maintenance ADDITIONAL INFORMATION In order to be considered for the award, contractors must be able to provide, at a minimum, the requirements of each item. Multiple awards will be considered.. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial, with addenda: paragraphs (h) & (i) of this provision do not apply; 52.212-2 Evaluation ? Commercial Items, with the following addenda: (a) is filled with (1) Technical Capability to meet the government?s needs and (2) Price; This will be a best value award, where technical capability and price are of equal importance. Offerors shall submit price and technical aspects of their proposal as separate items within the proposal. If two or more offers are considered to be technically equal, price will become the determining factor for award; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations & Certifications ? Commercial Items.
