- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4620-04-Q-B028 is issued as a request for quote, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 423610. Small business size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside. The requirement is for 8 each portable 6000 kilowatt diesel generators with 10 gallon auxiliary fuel tanks. The generators must be pull start with electronic ignition and be equipped with tires that can maneuver rough terrain. Offers shall specify and include a standard commercial warranty. Delivery is required no later than 1 October 2004.
