- Description
- The VA Medical Center, Dayton, Ohio is soliciting bids for the service to deliver a series of highly interactive training workshops to VISN 10 (Dayton VAMC, Cincinnati VAMC, Columbus VAMC, Brecksville VAMC, Cleveland VAMC, and Chillicothe VAMC) Goalsharing Team Leaders. The one (1) day training sessions shall be held at sites arranged for by the VA and address team leader subject areas to include: 1) Understanding the Power in Goalsharing Teams, 2) Team Stages, Dynamics and Development, 3) Practicing Powerful Facilitation Skills, 4) Common Team Problems, Barriers & Solutions, and 5) Goalsharing Measurement Results and Reporting. Half-day training workshop 1, for Team Leaders who have attended the full-day workshop, will address team leader subject areas to include: 1) Team Leaders-Leadership, 2) Team Building, 3) Facilitation Skills, 4) and Team Charter Booklet. Half-day training workshop 2, for Team Leaders who have attended the full-day workshop, will address team leader subject areas to include: 1) Measurement, 2) SMART goalsetting, 3) Statistics, 4) Presentation process, and 5) Team Charter Booklet. Classes do not run concurrently.Classes are 1 day in length (6.5 hours) or 4 hours. All subject areas listed for each training session will be covered in the same class session.Evidence of experience is having taught like classes which have the same type of content. Class size will be no larger than 30 employees. Vendor shall provide all necessary class materials. The contractor shall also provide all necessary equipment in the training rooms to include computer equipment and projectors as required. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 611430. Interested Contractors may download a copy of the solicitation on or about August 5, 2004. Solicitation number RFQ552-46-04 must be on the outside envelope of all bids for identification purposes. All bids are due on or before August 20, 2004 at 4:30PM (close of business) Eastern Standard Time.
