- Description
- The Kernville Heliport Canopy Enclosure Project is located on the Sequoia National Forest. Work consists of enclosing the existing metal framed vehicle canopy with wood/steel framing, T-1-11 wood siding, foil backed insulation, and interior sheathing. Work also includes installing interior lighting, new electrical service and outlets, a roll-up vehicle door, one personnel door, connecting the closed in canopy to the existing adjacent garage building, removing and reinstalling existing raingutters on the canopy, and installing 10 Lf of concrete stem wall 8" x 24" for exterior wall framing. Est. Gov't Price Ranger: Less than $100,000. Est. Contract time: 30 days. Est. Start Work Date: Sept. 7, 2004. A Pre-bid tour is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Aug. 10, 2004 at the Kernville Heliport, Kernville, CA, Kernville Airport, on State Route 521.
