- This project is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for road maintenance work on 5 roads on the Bessey Ranger District, Nebraska National Forest, Thomas County, Nebraska. Work includes blading native surface and aggregate surface roads, improving drainage structures, repairing soft spots with geotech material, cleaning cattleguards, removing slide material off road surfaces, and placing an aggregate-clay mixture. This shall be a firm fixed price contract. This project shall be a set-aside for small business concerns. See Note 1. It is anticipated work shall begin September 1, 2004. Performance period is 60 calendar days. NAICS code is 237310, size standard $28.5 million. This is an electronic solicitation only. All documents will be posted to www.fedbizopps.gov for download from this web site exclusively. It is anticipated the solicitation package will be issued approximately August 3, 2004.
