- Description
- Facilitation of Unit 2 Deer Planning Subcommittee meetings focused on developing recommendations for a subsistence-based management approach for deer in Unit 2. This work shall include facilitation services at five or more meetings, provide coordination before and after subcommittee meetings, prepare subcommittee minutes, reports, and other documents, and to draft a final report covering subcommittee activities. In addition, this work will include assisting the subcommittee in public involvement and outreach through development of subcommittee newsletters, a deer planning mailing list, web based materials, and other methods. Work shall include maintenance of a web site to manage public feedback and will be at various locations on the Tongass National Forest from 1 Sep 04 thru 30 June 05. The Regional Office in Juneau, AK., has a requirement for designing, conducting, and facilitating meetings for the Alaska Region. The period of performance for this requirement will be for a period of one year with two option years. All responsible sources may submit a bid that will be considered. Award of this project is to be accomplished under Full and Open Competition, pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
