Description
AWARDING OF THIS PROCUREMENT IS UNDER PENDING FUNDS AVAILABILITY. Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment, and transportation necessary for the replacement and installation of diesel and gasoline fuel tank and dispensing systems at the pier as specified at Coast Guard Group Port Angeles, Port Angeles, Washington. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: (A) DIESEL TANK SYSTEM: Demolish the existing 4,000-gallon diesel tank and dike and replace with a 10,000-gallon diesel tank and concrete foundation. Replace two malfunctioning solenoid valves. Repair the damaged fuel line on the pier. Relocate a dispcnsing unit from the dike to the pier walkway about 90 feet from the pier entrance. The existing pump, filter, and double wall piping leak detection sump will be reused for the new tank. A tank mounted dispensing system shall be provided for refueling Coast Guard diesel powered trucks and equipment. (B) GASOLINE TANK SUSTEM: Provide a 500-gallon gasoline tank system to support the gasoline-powered boats and equipment. The tank shall be located on the east side of the pier entrance, away from the refueling truck parking space. The dispensing unit shall be placed on the pier walkway next to the diesel dispensing unit as indicated on the drawings. A tank mounted dispensing sysem shall be provided for refueling Coast Guard gasoline powered cars and equipment. (C) TANK MONITORING AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM: Provide a new tank monitoring and leak detection system to monitor both tank systems. The system shall consist of a weather proof control console, tank monitoring probes, leak detection sensors, and relays to monitor and control both tanks, piping systems, solenoid valves, and associated equipment and instruments. (D) GENERAL ELECTRIC WORK: Provide electrical power as required for the tank and piping systems and monitoring and control systems installed by this contract. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $250,000 to $500,000 (CONSTRUCTION BIDS ONLY). Performance period is 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. This project is 100% Small Business Set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 238220. Small Business size standard is $12.0 million.
