- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12 supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation quotes are being required and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Regional Contracting Office, NE currently has a requirement for (9) Allegro devices needed to conduct electronic data collection (vice using paper forms) in support of the LW155, M777E1. These devices are uniquely suited to the MCOTEA operational test environment. The devices will withstand a 5-foot drop on concrete, and water-resistant (including temporary immersions), long battery life (up to 30 hours), run Windows CE software, and are capable of operating in the extreme cold temperatures expected to experience during the arctic test phase. Items are as follows: 1. Allegro CE Package storage collector (w/64 Ram and 128 M Data Storage), Juniper P/N 12950; 9 ea 2. NIMH Battery Pack, Juniper P/N 12523; 9 ea 3. External NIMH Battery Charger, Juniper P/N 12447; 3 ea 4. USB Power Dock for Allegro CE Pacakge, Juniper P/N 13060; 2 ea This solicitation document and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001.05 The clauses are listed in the solictication. Each proposals will be reviewed, and evaluated on its own merits. Selection will be to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solitation requiriements, is determined to be the best value, and best suit the needs of the government.
